Il Volo concert at the Summer Festival in Monaco
I've been a fan of Il Volo music since their ''Grande Amore'' song which won the San Remo song contest and ended up third at the Eurovision in 2015. Although still very young the Operatic-Pop-Trio: Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero already celebrates their 15 years anniversary on the scene. On their world tour Il Volo enchants Monte Carlo community and guests as a part of Monaco's Summer Festival. With great maturity and young enthusiasm the Italian trio performed hits: ''Grande Amore,'' ''Capolavoro,'' ''Un amore così grande,'' ''Hallelujah,'' Frank Sinatra's ''My Way,'' made a tribute to Queen with songs ''Show must go on'' and ''Who wants to live forever'' just to mention some. My sincerest ovations go to their performance of ''Il Mondo'' which is my favorite and has already inspired some of my paintings. Listening to Il Volo's live performance is an unforgettable experience. Grazie ragazzi, siete stati fantastici!
Since the format and exclusivity of this event oblige evening gowns, it is advisable to check up your closet in advance. I've opted for a light transparent lilac sequins dress with a floral pattern. Elegant earrings matched with a tiny crystal clutch and champagne color heels. And of course, no step outside without my favorite this summer's white sunglasses since ''Sun's Out, Shades On.''
My look in detail:
This can't go unmentioned, that I was delighted by the great food and appreciated service that minded my food intolerances (which is always a topic when eating out for someone eating gluten free).
All in all, great musicians, great show, great location and great company. Something to gladly remember.
Are you a fan of Italian music? Let me know!
Cheers!
Celeste
